If you are accessing this wiki, it means you are in one of my 2009-2010 classes so welcome! I have created this database as a means of allowing you, my students, the opportunity to have access to resources that I have selected and approved as well as a place for you to collaborate with others in your respective class.
The wiki is also a means for me, Ms. Weir, to help attain a professional goal and that is to be as paperless in our classroom as possible. I feel the environment is such an important issue and by doing most of our work online, we can do our small part to help save some trees and in turn, the air we breath.
A Few Wiki Guidelines:
1. Please be respectful of this wiki. It is a privilege to have access to this collaborative workspace and if I feel that any of you are abusing this privilege, I will lock you out.
2. My wiki has resources for three different classes and therefore at any given time, close to 90 people may be accessing and/or using the wiki for classroom activities. Therefore, please be respectful of other(s)' workspaces and only access pages you need. (I can tell who has visited a page so please keep that in mind!)
3. Any members of the LDSS staff or your parents have access to this wiki so please keep your names and comments clean! We are practicing "netiquette" with this resource so your professionalism is appreciated.
4. Collaborate, work together, make suggestions, praise, and communicate through the wiki!
